Please note: this is for full season EDP Players and Goalies only. If you are not in EDP in 2025-26 for the full season, this is NOT available to you. 

InStat is a performance analysis platform offering video and data tools for scouting, player development, and team strategy. At EDP our primary need and use for it is player development. Through our contract with Instat we can arrange for our players who sign up for personal access so you can get your own detailed game reports, statistical breakdowns, and interactive video playlists to watch your games, track performance, identify improvements, and enhance communication with coaches.

How much does this cost?

The cost is $199.99 for the 7-month season (comes to $28.57 a month).

What do we get for this?

Players who sign up for this will get their usernames and passwords for access to Instat. There, they can look up all their favorite players (virtually all NHL, USHL, NCAA DI, and top junior teams use it) and, even more important, will get personalized, detailed game reports emailed to them as their games are analyzed. These reports include video links to dozens of different metrics, allowing you to watch the tracked statistics at the click of a button.

The webpage access includes even more stats tracked, so players can track performance, identify improvements, re-watch moments of glory, mistakes, bloopers, and game play, all of which builds their hockey IQ and allows for enhanced communication with coaches. Playlists can be easily created as well to share with others as desired.
